About the Role:

Analytics at Subway® is the practice that leverages mathematics and statistics to uncover insights in data to inform business decisions.  The team supports the company with analytics to measure how the company is doing, determine actions that will make the biggest impact on performance improvement, answer ad hoc questions with data that members of the company do not have access to and educates on to use and interpret reports that are produced.  This Analyst position is responsible for performing data mining, leveraging the tools available for the development of quantitative models to support and guide business-building efforts for Subway®.  

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage analytic software and predictive modeling techniques to assess the performance of and optimize marketing initiatives.
  • Fulfill complex ad hoc requests leveraging SQL, Alteryx, and other database querying company analytics tools.  Analyze large datasets to uncover insights.  Support broader Global Marketing Analytics team through data support, query buidling, data visualizations
  • Build compelling data visualizations and automte repetitive processes to increase throughput
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations to help progress the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing
  • 1-2 years of Financial Analyst experience preferred
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL, Alteryx or R preferred.
  • Experience applying statistical techniques such as regression, ANOVA, cluster analyssis, factor analysis, time business problems.
  • Understanding of databases, file manipulation techniques and how to access and leverage relational databases.
  • Possess core analytical competencies such as ability to formulate analytical problem/hypothesis; QC data and results and summarize key finding/insights.
  • Ability to explain/present complicated/advanced analytical methodology and results to non-technical audiences.

 Compensation: The base pay range for this role is $69,400-86,800 annually

Pay within this range will be determined in good faith based on job-related factors, which may include skills, experience, education/training, location, and internal equity.
