Job description

cBEYONData + SMX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced team member to join our team in support of Enterprise Data Analytics Platform effort for a Federal customer. The focus across the broader program includes analyzing current data and system interfaces, building and maintaining data pipelines, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting other IT modernization programmatic activities. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for gathering and maintaining business and system requirements for mid to large enterprise applications

  • Provide Financials related business process analysis to identify business process impacts of system changes

  • Analyze financial data from legacy systems and determine how the data elements and transactional records should be mapped and migrated into to analytical platform.

  • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications to be provided to the technical team for development.

  • Test and approve the final developed artifacts as a Business Analyst.

  • Determine the integration of financial datasets with that from other domains like Logistics, Human Resources etc.

  • Develop a deep understanding of business objectives and strategies to ensure architectural vision is fully aligned with those objectives and strategies

  • Conduct workshops with customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their current data and business processes.

  • Prepare and present briefings to the client and program leads on approach, courses of action and implementation status.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Active DoD Secret level security clearance are required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field

  • 6 years of related work experience

  • Skills:

  • Experience in business process analysis/management, enterprise solution implementations, operations analysis and/or strategic planning and a background in management consulting

  • Experience in planning and leading financial requirements analysis workshops with stakeholders and functional POC’s in the Federal government sector

  • Experience with creating functional designs and translating functional requirements into technical specifications

  • Experience working with SAP Financial dataset to include FICO, AP, AR and Invoicing in a DoD system

  • Knowledge of common SAP data elements between the FICO and other modules like MM, PP etc.

  • Experience working with GFEBS

  • Experience working as a Business Analyst and testing the end product developed by the technical developers

  • Experience coding in Python/Pyspark and SQL

  • Experience within a Software/Systems Development Life Cycle with solid understanding of the roles and tasks involved

  • Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, and participate in discussions

  • Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks without any supervision

  • Driven, self-directed personality

  • Strong sense of mission and commitment to making a difference

The proposed salary for this position is:

$123,000—$206,000 USD
