Job description

Associate Director Of Data Analytics

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Director of Data Analytics for a temporary position in the Feld Center for Career and Alumni Engagement. This individual will be responsible for serving as primary liaison to Questrom IT during the buildout and implementation of a new and evolving Salesforce CRM. In addition, the Associate Director will provide strategic insight into opportunities for dashboard development and data collection and synthesis to improve data-driven decision making related to career development events, activities and student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Administration:
    • Serve as the primary liaison to Questrom IT and Salesforce consultants during the buildout the Feld Center instance of the Salesforce CRM to incorporate alumni engagement and action learning
    • Work with the Questrom IT team and Salesforce consultants to facilitate integrations and plug-ins with Salesforce and LinkedIn, Handshake, Outlook, etc.
    • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data management and administration workflows.
    • Provide training and support for staff on effective use of Salesforce for career services, industry engagement, alumni engagement, and action learning activities.
  • Data Collection and Synthesis:
    • Identify opportunities to optimize data collection and synthesis related to career services, industry engagement, alumni engagement, and action learning; including employer and alumni participation, student engagement, and data mapping to resulting internship and job outcomes
    • Analyze industry and alumni engagement metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement; suggest new metrics as data allows and as relevant to decision-making needs
    • Collaborate with Questrom Decision Support (QRO to support data collection efforts related to national surveys and rankings

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in Salesforce development, design, integration, and training
  • Experience in conducting database training sessions and developing database training materials
  • Experience or ability to develop proficiency with platforms including Handshake and PowerBI
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, students, employers, alumni, and faculty.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within higher education or career services.
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce administration and data management.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, Handshake, and other relevant software and tools.
  • R, Python, SQL, database management tools

Can be remote 2 days/week.
