Job description

As a Business Analyst Sr. within PNC's Asset Management organization, you will be based in Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, Troy, MI, or potentially other hub locations.
Responsibilities
The role of a BA is to provide continuous backlog management as well as assist the Product Owner in bringing new functionality to life through the Product Development Lifecycle:
Ideation
Work with internal users and leadership to determine requirements and priority for the Middle Office Workflow (MOW) application
Research, obtain and document business requirements.
Conduct current state / future state analysis and gap assessments
Basic workflow mapping
Definition
Work with product team to establish plan for new functionality in the MOW application
Work with design to create prototypes of new functionality
Translate new functionality into JIRA epics and tickets with well defined requirements for developers
Plan for dependencies between tickets
Development
Attend established scrum ceremonies to workshop and assign point value to JIRA tickets
Assist in Sprint planning
Review ongoing development work in QA environment
Backlog management: ensure there are always tickets available for developers to work on
Testing
Review developer tickets for final approval after development and testing
Identify any discrepancies and meet with developers to discuss
Participate in team wide Testing sessions to go through workflows and identify any bugs
Launch
Before releases, write and execute User Acceptance Testing of all involved JIRA stories
Assist in Business End to End testing before releases
Occasionally attend Release calls and assist our test users
