Title: Business Analyst III
Location: Portland OR - Hybrid/ Remote
Duration: 6 months
Job Description
• Can you give a high-level overview of your team size, roles, its initiatives/deliverables, and any tool/technologies specific to your team/department/project they will be supporting: Team size of 9 individuals comprised of compliance analysts, business analyst, release manager and java developer.
• Company is implementing multiple projects (1) EnergyCAP solution (Facilities billing and management solution), (2) Maintenance requests/Inventory management solutions in Compliance platform (3) Internal Audit/SOX solutions.
• What would "a day in the life" of this role look like?: In addition to working in the capacity of a business analyst, also understand the DevonWay platform and its compliance functions to help support our business partners.
• What interaction level with this role have the team members and hiring manager? Heavy interaction with team members primarily FTE BSA as well as the hiring manager in building a business case, gathering requirements, performing cost-benefit analysis.
• What would you say is the top priority for the worker over the first few weeks/months?: Validate and finalize requirements. learn about the modules within DevonWay.
• What do you foresee being the biggest challenge in this role? Understanding and learning the tool. Working with non-IT individuals to confirm requirements.

Must Have:
• Strong IT business analysis and stakeholder management with working knowledge of all aspects business analysis, testing and validation
• Education: Bachelor's degree
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of Energy and utilities. Experience with JIRA or similar tools. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.
