Purpose:

We are looking for a business Analyst to support and enhance our operations. If you're a problem-solver who enjoys designing and optimizing business processes utilizing software, we want to hear from you!

Basic Job Functions:
  • Support software systems. Assist in the design, documentation, and maintenance of software
  • Support applications that integrate with Microsoft D365 or other software used at NRF.
  • Analyze business needs. Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Optimize system performance. Use in-depth functional knowledge business processes to maximize automation and process effectiveness.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration. Lead discussions between business and IT teams to align system capabilities with business needs.
  • Ensure data accuracy and quality. Perform quality assurance, data governance activities, and manage process change requests.
  • Manage end-to-end projects. Oversee the scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment of projects from start to finish.
  • Provide expert guidance. Offer best practices and solution alternatives in functional design documents. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline. Equivalent combination of experience and education is also acceptable.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (Nucor will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future).
Preferences:
  • 2-3 years of experience with software systems.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or performing Business Analyst responsibilities. Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance requirements analysis, documentation, reporting, or process optimization.
  • Experience in steel or metal related industry.
