Description

The Shuttle Bus Driver is an essential member of our team and is the brand ambassador, providing the fastest, easiest, and most valued experience to our customers. This team member is responsible for the safe, friendly, efficient transportation of customers between multiple airport terminals and the parking lot location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide timely shuttle service to customers to/from airport terminal to parking lot, in compliance with company policies and procedures and local laws.
  • Personally, welcome customers boarding the bus, assist with luggage and answer questions in a friendly manner.
  • Effectively communicate stops and safety information; if needed, communicate with other Courtesy Service Drivers, Bus operations Supervisor using standard codes.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers
  • Conduct bus inspection to ensure customer and employee safety and bring any defect / damage to the attention of the supervisor.
  • Maintain appearance appropriate for providing best in class customer service in accordance with established guidelines
  • Ensure the bus is kept tidy
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by communicating customer feedback to team and engaging in action planning to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Must pass drug screen and physical
  • Must have valid chauffeur's license.


Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Possess an active Chauffers' license
  • Good driving record
  • Obtain a DOT medical clearance
  • Lift and/or move up to 45 pounds


WORK ENVIRONMENT:


The position operates indoors and outdoors during all weather conditions. This role routinely is exposed to fumes and airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to drive; stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and must frequently lift or move up to 45 pounds.
