Job Summary
POSITION TITLE: Bus Driver
JOB GOAL: To transport students in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
REPORTS TO: Transportation Supervisor
SUPERVISES: N/A
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Transport students to and from school and on assigned trips safely and efficiently.
  2. Comply with all state and local laws related to bus transportation.
  3. Observe all safety regulations for school buses.
  4. Maintain discipline of students and report discipline problems to Transportation Supervisor.
  5. Follow all procedures for loading and unloading students.
  6. Operate bus in a safe manner at all times.
  7. Model and maintain high ethical standards.
  8. Keep supervisor informed of potential problems or unusual events.
  9. Respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  10. Prepare all required reports and maintain all appropriate records.
  11. Perform all required tasks in a professional manner.
  12. Perform all tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position.
