Line Cook Team Member

Job Summary

  • Pay: $10-$13 per hour (Including Tips)
  • Reports To: General Manager/Assistant Manager
  • Prepares, seasons, and cooks menu items according to standards for service to customers.
  • Maintain a happy and friendly attitude while interacting with guests and building their food items.
  • Communicate with the team in a positive manner to ensure all food items are properly prepared and rung up accordingly.
  • Inspects and cleans food preparation areas or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
  • Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
  • Basic line set up and line preparation for service and maintaining a stocked line throughout the shift.
  • Consults with supervisory staff to ensure daily needs are met to run flawless services.
  • Obtains basic knowledge of all menu items to help guests with questions when asked.

Job Qualifications

  • Able to listen and follow directions
  • Ability to positively and properly communicate with customers and other team members
