Job Description:

Provide administrative support to the Marketing Department, while demonstrating the ability to be an innovative self-starter. This role will focus on Burkes corporate brand and image through advertising, event coordination, enhancement/creation of marketing materials and management of social media platforms.

Tasks:


  • Assist in organizing internal and external company events

  • Management of SEO on website platforms

  • Assisting with marketing administrative tasks

  • Assisting with the creation of marketing presentations

  • Assist with redesign of all marketing collateral

  • Development of content for marketing collateral

  • Assist with additional projects as needed throughout the Marketing Department


Requirements:


  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule of 20-25 hours

  • Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher

  • Preferably Junior or Senior status pursuing any of the following programs: Marketing, Business Management, Communications or English


Critical Competencies:


  • High-level administrative skills - Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Technical writing skills - Possesses the ability to construct professional and informative documents
