JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title:      Housekeeping Room Attendant

                                      

Job Overview 

The purpose of this position is to ensure the cleanliness of rooms. The Room Attendant/Housekeeper position will come in contact with guests and will need to have positive guest interactions. Housekeeping associates play an important role for their home-away-from home experience for each of our guests every day. 

Responsibilities: 

 

· Acknowledges and greets guests in public areas with a warm and friendly greeting.

· Review daily inventory of arrivals and departures to the property.

· Review daily inventory of supplies needed to complete the assignments for the day.

· Responsible for dusting, vacuuming and changing bed linens for rooms assigned.  

· Responsible for cleaning bathrooms, beds, picture fames, furniture and common areas.  

· Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time frames. 

· Comply with all resort safety guidelines.

· Pick up ground litter around hotel or anything visible.

· May perform other duties requested by supervisor.

Position Requirements/ Experience: 

 Housekeeping related experience

Customer service experience 

Must be very detail orientated. 

Ability to multi-task

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
