What We Expect
This role is for experienced professionals who can work safely, produce quality installations, and represent Bonsai well on active jobsites. Attendance, accountability, and professional communication are essential.
·    Show up on time and ready to work.
·    Maintain reliable transportation to and from worksites.

·    Take ownership of assigned work and jobsite responsibilities.
·    Work safely, follow company processes, and respect jobsite procedures.
·    Represent Bonsai professionally with coworkers, customers, general contractors, and other trades.

Key Responsibilities
·    Fit and install commercial and industrial mechanical insulation accurately, safely, and professionally.
·    Install insulation on piping, equipment, ductwork, and related mechanical systems according to project requirements.
·    Install metal jacketing over insulation using metalworking tools such as slip rollers, brakes, benders, and related equipment.
·    Measure, cut, fit, lay out, and secure insulation materials with limited supervision.
·    Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite throughout the project.
·    Build and break down scaffolding when required.
·    Assist with or complete project documentation, including work tickets, JSAs, work permits, production reports, and QA/QC reports.
·    Communicate professionally with foremen, project teams, customers, general contractors, and other trades.
·    Follow company processes, safety policies, and jobsite procedures.
·    Participate in required safety and job training.
·    Drive large pickups with enclosed trailers when needed and qualified.
·    Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
·    Commercial or industrial mechanical insulation experience.
·    Ability to install mechanical insulation accurately and safely with limited supervision.
·    Experience installing insulation on piping, equipment, ductwork, or related mechanical systems.
·    Reliable transportation to and from worksites.
·    Strong attendance, punctuality, and personal accountability.
·    Effective communication skills.
·    Ability to work respectfully and professionally with coworkers, supervisors, customers, and other trades.
·    Ability to follow company processes, safety rules, and jobsite procedures.
·    Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch throughout the workday.
·    Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs unassisted.
·    Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
·    OSHA 30, or willingness to obtain OSHA 30 before starting jobsite work.

Helpful Qualifications
·    Industrial mechanical insulation experience.
·    Data center, hospital, school, government, large commercial, or industrial project experience.
·    Metal jacketing experience.
·    Ability to read plans, drawings, specifications, or insulation schedules.
·    Scaffolding experience.
·    Bilingual skills.
·    Safeland card.
·    MSHA card.
