Job Skills / Requirements
We are seeking a professional, dependable, and experienced Security Officer to provide security services at a high-rise medical office building in the Houston Medical Center.
The ideal candidate will have high-rise, medical office, hospital, or commercial building security experience and be comfortable working in a busy environment while handling multiple responsibilities at the same time.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor building entrances, exits, lobby, and common areas
  • Provide a professional and welcoming security presence for tenants, patients, visitors, and staff
  • Monitor access control and visitor activity
  • Conduct regular building and property patrols
  • Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
  • Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
  • Monitor CCTV and security systems
  • Assist with emergency procedures and evacuations
  • Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, visitors, and emergency personnel
  • Handle multiple tasks while maintaining strong situational awareness
  • Enforce building security policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Previous security experience required
  • High-rise building experience strongly preferred
  • Medical office, hospital, or healthcare security experience is a plus
  • Current Texas security license as required for the position
  • Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and observation skills
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations
