Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI is seeking a VP - SYSTEM BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & TRANSFORMATION to join our BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION team!
The Vice President - System Business Intelligence & Transformation plays a highly visible role in helping Aspirus Health effectively use data and insights to make well informed decisions, advance strategic initiatives, accelerate improvement, and achieve sustainable success. Additionally, this role will set the vision for Business Intelligence and Business Transformation capabilities, spread the use of Lean/Six Sigma and project management methodologies, drive improvement and standardization/optimization of processes, and play an influential role in supporting organizational performance improvement. The Vice President is responsible for building Aspirus capabilities in data analysis and reporting, process improvement and project management, critical thinking and the effective implementation of the system strategy and major impact projects.
Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, health care or related field required.
  • Master's degree in business administration, information science, health care administration or related field required.
  • Information Science/Analytics/Business Intelligence certification highly desired.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification highly desired.
  • Project Management (PMP) certification desired.
  • Portfolio Management (PfMP) certification desired.
  • Proven experience in utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving methodologies to daily business challenges.
  • 5+ Years' experience in leading business intelligence and analytics, or associated teams.
  • 5+ Years' experience leading continuous improvement and project management teams.
  • Experience with Lean Management Systems, Hoshin Kanri, value stream mapping and implementing daily operations management systems.
  • Experience leading operations and driving organizational performance.
  • Experience with building new functions/capabilities within an organization preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience building and sustaining organizational capabilities/competencies through training and coaching.
  • Extensive experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Proficient in developing and organizing project information and effectively presenting to a range of audiences.
  • Ability to deliver results while managing multiple projects.
  • Proficient in navigating matrixed organizational structures.
  • Health care operations leadership experience desired.
