Construction Project Manager


Southwestern Ontario | Full-Time | ICI Construction


Blackridge Search Group has partnered with a well-established and respected Ontario general contractor to recruit an experienced Construction Project Manager. This organization has built a strong reputation for delivering complex industrial, commercial, and design-build projects while maintaining long-term relationships with clients and trade partners.


This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout, working alongside experienced site teams and senior leadership.


What You'll Be Doing


As the Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple construction projects, including:

  • Managing projects from startup through occupancy and closeout
  • Preparing and managing budgets, estimates, schedules, tenders, and monthly reporting
  • Coordinating subcontractor procurement, buyout, contracts, and change management
  • Leading project meetings with clients, consultants, architects, and trade partners
  • Working closely with Site Superintendents to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
  • Reviewing drawings, RFIs, shop drawings, and contract documentation
  • Monitoring project costs, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Managing project risks while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the lifecycle of each project
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards

What We're Looking For


We're interested in speaking with professionals who have:

  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience within ICI construction
  • Proven experience delivering design-build projects
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, estimating, contracts, and project controls
  • Experience coordinating consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and MS Project

Assets include:

  • Construction Engineering or Building Technology diploma/degree
  • P.Eng., C.E.T., Gold Seal, or PMP designation
  • Experience with Jonas Construction Software
  • Experience delivering food processing or industrial facility projects
  • Experience with pre-engineered buildings
