Job description

Job Title: Operations Director

Organization: Lambda Chi Foundation

Direct Reports: Administration Officer, Associate Director of Data Enrichment, Salesforce Administrator

Reports To: Vice President-Engagement


Main Function: The Operations Director is responsible for oversight of the systems, processes, data, and operational infrastructure that supports organizational growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operations functions, including stakeholder support, gift administration, donor recognition, data enrichment, reporting, analytics, and operating systems.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational policies, procedures, workflows, and controls that support efficient, donor-centered fundraising operations.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise-wide standards and processes for donor data management, gift administration, reporting, and technology utilization.
  • Support the Vice President-Engagement in building scalable fundraising infrastructure that supports organizational growth, operational efficiency, and long-term success.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to support integrated fundraising, donor and volunteer engagement, marketing, stewardship, and impact reporting efforts.
  • Promote and support a culture of continuous learning and professional development for all team members in alignment with personal and organizational goals.
  • Partner with the Fraternity on mission-aligned strategies for stakeholder management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in nonprofit fundraising operations.
  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience in nonprofit fundraising operations preferred.
  • Experience with member or donor CRMs; Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Experience with nonprofits or fraternity/sorority life a plus.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Results driven to meet the mission, vision, and goals of the Foundation.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and process improvement skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. PMP certification desired.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to staff, leadership, and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to quality, detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency and ability to utilize various technology platforms.


Salary & Benefits
