Are you an experienced Registered Nurse leader with a strong background in Home Health operations, clinical leadership, and team development?
We’re seeking a Territory Operations Director – RN to lead daily operations and clinical services across the Lombard, IL market while ensuring patients, families, and team members receive the highest level of support.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced healthcare leader who brings a strong combination of clinical knowledge, people leadership, operational expertise, and business acumen.
THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you’ll guide territory operations, support clinical services, lead team development, and drive strong operational performance across the market.
You’ll work closely with direct and indirect team members, leadership, and cross-functional partners to ensure high-quality patient care while achieving organizational goals and performance expectations.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, improving operations, building strong teams, and making a meaningful impact on patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Guide daily operations and clinical services to best support patients, families, and team members
  • Organize and lead agency functions and day-to-day territory operations, including oversight of multiple sites when needed
  • Drive strong operational performance aligned with established Administrator KPIs
  • Support, empower, and develop both direct and indirect team members across the territory
  • Provide administrative oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care
  • Ensure policies and procedures are implemented consistently while maintaining compliance with professional standards and state and federal requirements
  • Lead the selection, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members
  • Build and develop capable, confident leaders throughout the organization
  • Conduct regular coaching conversations with direct reports to support professional growth and development
  • Proactively identify team members who may be at risk of leaving and develop thoughtful retention and engagement plans
  • Successfully navigate a matrixed healthcare environment by building strong relationships and collaborating across departments
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and deliver meaningful results

 QUALIFICATIONS
  • Illinois RN license required
  • Healthcare professional with at least 2 years of health-related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business and fiscal functions within a healthcare setting
  • 3+ years of people management and administrative experience
  • Previous Home Health experience required
  • Strong business and fiscal experience, with P&L oversight preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and team-development skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured automobile in accordance with state and organizational requirements
