A Inside Lumber & Building Materials Sales Associate position is currently open at our Emporia, KS location. Career opportunities may be available to full-time employees.
Objectives:
We are looking for a self-motivated individual to be an integral part of our retail sales team by demonstrating excellent customer service skills at our Inside Lumber Counter. Our ideal candidate takes pleasure in solving problems, is able to work under pressure, sell to customers and enjoys being part of a team.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and assist with their questions about our products and guide them toward using the right products.
  • Accurately estimating and pricing the correct material necessary for customer projects.
  • Work a varied schedule that may include day, evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will have a high school education/GED and 1+ years of retail sales experience or the equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.
  • Previous experience in either installation or sales preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Motivated, hardworking and honest
  • Able to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
Pay will be based on the level of experience.
