The Finance Intern will embark on an immersive journey to gain essential financial reporting and analytical skills that are critical to the success of the complex homebuilding business. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial analytics, decision-making, and cross-departmental collaboration, equipping the intern with a comprehensive understanding of how finance supports business operations and strategic initiatives.
Overview of Responsibilities:
  • Develop financial reporting literacy to support the various components of the homebuilding process.
  • Gain insights into land acquisition and learn how to provide financial analysis to guide business decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to act as a bridge between sales, construction, and other departments, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
  • Contribute to financial projects that enable the company to achieve its fiscal goals and support long-term business growth.
  • Assist with financial data analysis, forecasting, and reporting to drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

Information Technology:

  • Our various Home Office Internships are ideal for candidates pursuing a number of degrees including Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Information Technology, Pre-law, or similar degree.
  • Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application or must have graduated the semester immediately preceding the start of the internship.
  • Minimum of sophomore status. Rising juniors, rising seniors, or graduate students preferred
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at time of application or graduation preferred.
