Minimum Qualifications, Additional Requirements and Supervisory Responsibilities These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a standard high school course with course work in the Building Trades, or two (2) years of vocational technical school training in the Building Trades; two (2) years of experience in building inspection or four (4) years of experience in building construction; and one (1) year of supervisory experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess certification as a Commercial Building Inspector from the International Code Council within one (1) year of employment and maintain authorization for duration of employment in this position.
Must possess Citation Authority Certification within one (1) year of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position. Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
