Job description

From securing our campuses to making sure our events go off without a hitch, Facilities is the human face of our company’s well-oiled onsite operation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general repairs of the facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation and condition
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to onsite facilities equipment
  • Complete daily assigned tasks and provide an update to the Facilities Manager
  • Provide maintenance support to all on site departments to include projects and installations
  • Assist in office furniture reconfigurations, furniture moves, and office moves as requested
  • Ability to provide occasional on call support to facility during emergencies
  • Address and complete daily work orders
  • Seasonal snow removal
  • Provide support during on and off site events, set up and tear down
  • Assist onsite contractors when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Possess a current and valid driver license
  • Experience with operating heavy equipment such as a forklift, scissor lift, and boom lifts etc.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical for maintenance operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work successfully within a team environment
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to utilize hand tools
  • Ability to utilize power tools
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
  • Time management skills
  • Basic computer skills using software such as MS Office and/or Google Suite
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Will be able to work in all-weather environments, indoors, and outdoors
  • Will be able to sit, stand, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periods
