Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Package materials for shipment
  • Receive, unpack, verify, and stock incoming goods in assigned locations
  • Load and unload trucks; move materials throughout the plant using a fork truck or pallet jack
  • Support efficient and controlled material flow across operations
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety standards
  • Keep shipping, receiving, and inventory areas clean and organized

Qualifications
The following are the minimum requirements to successfully perform this role and represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in production or warehouse operations preferred
  • Prior shipping and receiving experience preferred
  • Current fork truck license required
  • Minimum 1 year of fork truck and warehouse experience required'

Skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written); ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across all levels
  • Experience operating material handling equipment, including fork trucks
  • Basic carpentry skills, including use of small power tools

Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, and perform tasks involving repetitive movement
  • Ability to use a computer for extended periods as needed
  • Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Must be able to safely handle metals such as aluminum, copper, bronze, and steel

Work Environment
* Exposure to moving and heated mechanical parts, airborne particles, adhesive fumes, and energized electrical systems
* Moderate noise levels may occur periodically
* Required personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided

Hiring Salary Range: **$17.35 - $22.00 per hour** (Compensation is based on experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.)
