Job description

Responsibilities
  • Perform third party electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections
  • Perform inspections of foundations, concrete slabs, framing, roofing and related construction activity
  • Perform plan reviews and determine if the permitted design plans may require revisions and make recommendations to the contractors, engineers and/or architect
  • Prepare and submit daily time and Inspection/Field Reports in accordance with ECS Policy
  • Market our services by maintaining and developing client interactions and participating in business development and marketing functions related to construction inspections
  • Follow ECS safety procedures and policies

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2 years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
  • NCP CCI commercial certification in mechanical, electrical and plumbing required
  • Certifications are required for all types of testing performed.
    • Additional licenses or certifications may be required depending on the state in which you work.
  • Extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures
  • If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required.
