About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist & BIM Specialist with 5+ years of post graduation experience to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly proficient in Revit and enjoys both the technical and BIM sides of architectural project delivery.

You will work across projects from Design Development through Construction, producing and coordinating documentation, developing Revit models, supporting BIM workflows and collaborating closely with architects, technologists and multidisciplinary consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and coordinate Design Development and Construction Documents.
  • Develop accurate architectural models and drawing packages in Revit.
  • Support BIM standards, workflows and model coordination.
  • Coordinate architectural models with multidisciplinary consultants.
  • Prepare permit, tender and construction packages.
  • Assist with technical detailing and building code requirements.
  • Participate in drawing reviews and QA/QC.
  • Support projects during Contract Administration.
  • Troubleshoot Revit and BIM related project challenges.
  • Collaborate with project teams throughout all phases of delivery.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Architectural Technology or related architectural education.
  • 5+ years of post graduation experience within an architectural practice.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit.
  • Strong understanding of BIM workflows and model coordination.
  • Excellent Design Development and Construction Documentation experience.
  • Strong architectural detailing and technical skills.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants.
  • Experience across commercial, multifamily, institutional or community projects.
  • Knowledge of Canadian building codes and construction practices.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Open to relocating from Vancouver or the Lower Mainland to BC's Okanagan region.
