Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize system-level applications on Unix/Linux platforms using C.
  • Design and implement network programming solutions using sockets, TCP/IP, IPC, and related protocols.
  • Develop automation scripts and system utilities using Perl, Bash, and Korn Shell.
  • Troubleshoot operating system, application, and network-related issues.
  • Implement secure coding standards and defensive programming practices.
  • Support authentication and authorization mechanisms, including Kerberos integration.
  • Monitor system performance and perform debugging, diagnostics, and performance tuning.
  • Develop and maintain multi-threaded and concurrent applications.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to maintain platform stability and security.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Use source control tools such as Git for software development and maintenance.
Required Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and system internals.
