Job description

The Junior Systems Automation Developer is an entry-level position focused on assisting in the development, testing, and maintenance of automation solutions, scripts, integrations, and analytics. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with beginner knowledge to gain practical experience in various programming languages and platforms, including Python, PowerShell, SQL, Power BI, and more. Under the guidance of senior team members, the Junior Systems Automation Developer plays a crucial role in contributing to automation initiatives within the organization.
  • Assist in building automation scripts and solutions using languages such as PowerShell, Python, and other relevant tools.
  • Work on basic data imports, transformation, and visualization within Power BI, gaining hands-on experience in data analysis techniques.
  • Help create integrations between systems using APIs and scripting, enhancing skills in system integration methodologies.
  • Contribute to the documentation of automation solutions and technical processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and team collaboration.
  • Test new automation scripts and workflows, learning the importance of quality assurance in software development.
  • Provide basic technical support to end-users on new solutions, enhancing communication and problem-solving skills while interacting with stakeholders.

  • Monitors performance of processes to determine productivity levels.
  • Makes recommendations for improvements to IT Director for review and approval.
  • Troubleshoots issues related to internal processing and/or automated processes.
  • Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), rules, personnel policies, and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state, and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms.
  • Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures.
  • Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
  • Ensures clients' rights are protected.

  • Associate degree in business or computer science or 1-2 years equivalent experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass a drug screen, State and Federal Background Checks, Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance check and an Adult Registry Check
  • FBI Fingerprint check
  • Lifting Requirements of 30 - 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
  • 1-2 years of experience, including internships, coursework projects, or personal projects in programming, scripting, or automation-related tasks. Relevant certifications or coursework in languages like Python, PowerShell, or SQL is advantageous
