Our client is a globally recognized, premier systems integrator and a leading provider of comprehensive building automation solutions. Known for their collaborative culture and commitment to innovation, they design and implement cutting-edge technology for state-of-the-art facilities. They are currently experiencing significant growth and are looking for driven leaders to help shape the future of their Building Automation team.

Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our client's growing Building Automation team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage projects from start to finish while leading a team of engineers at a high level. You will be heavily involved in project financials, reporting, invoicing, procurement, drafting change orders, and direct coordination with customers.


Responsibilities:


Manage large projects and/or multiple concurrent projects from inception to completion.


Take accountability for project margins and implement steps to increase the financial health of the project.


Establish project schedules and carefully monitor progress for on-time completion.


Accurately forecast resource needs for all assigned projects.


Review, monitor, and mitigate potential sources of project risk.


Present project schedules, scope, and resource plans to the divisional Director/Group Manager.


Handle project financials, including cost projections, cash flow reporting, and monthly job invoicing.


Quantify and draft change orders as necessary.


Enforce quality plans and monitor projects for quality throughout the project lifecycle.


Serve as the primary commercial contact for customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction.


Determine causes of deviations from the project plan and recommend/implement corrective actions.


Negotiate Terms & Conditions with customers.


Provide technical guidance to the project team and enforce the use of engineering standards.


Contribute to the development of tools that facilitate project management and participate in the QMS.


Balance project finances, customer satisfaction, and team development effectively.


Qualifications:


3-5 years of project leadership experience (Project Management or Technical Lead).


Proven experience organizing, scheduling, and leading meetings with internal teams and customers.


Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Microsoft Project.


Basic understanding of HVAC systems within large building automation systems.


Basic understanding of the sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities.


Basic understanding of instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems.


Demonstrated excellence in communication, planning, organization, leadership, and motivation.


Bonus Skills: Building automation and/or industrial controls experience (Rockwell, Schneider, AVEVA, Inductive Automation) and onsite commissioning experience are highly preferred.
