Job description

Residential Construction Project Manager

Square 1 Builders is a growing residential construction company focused on building high-quality custom homes while creating a positive experience for our clients throughout the building process.

We are looking for a Residential Construction Project Manager who takes pride in their work, communicates well with homeowners and contractors, and enjoys solving problems and keeping projects moving forward.

Our Project Managers play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring every home meets our quality standards.

If you enjoy working independently, managing multiple projects, and being part of a team that truly cares about the homes we build, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities

·         Manage daily construction activities for multiple residential building projects

·         Maintain and update construction schedules to keep homes on track

·         Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and trade partners

·         Conduct regular jobsite inspections for quality and safety

·         Manage and document change orders

·         Communicate project progress with homeowners and internal office staff

·         Ensure each job site remains clean, organized, and safe

·         Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors

·         Identify and solve jobsite challenges proactively

·         Ensure all work meets Square 1 Builders’ quality standards

Qualifications

·         2+ years of residential construction project management experience preferred

·         Strong understanding of residential construction practices and building codes

·         Ability to manage multiple job sites simultaneously

·         Excellent communication and leadership skills

·         Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities

·         Experience with construction management software such as JobTread, Buildertrend, or similar platforms is a plus

·         Existing relationships with local subcontractors are a plus
