A family-owned business with a commitment to the community, we're looking for a motivated, committed, and experienced Team Lead to help support our Retail team.
The Team Lead will have strong interpersonal, operational, problem-solving, and organizational skills. They will support the Director of Operations by overseeing dispensary employees and managing all retail operations. This includes opening and closing responsibilities and day-to-day floor operations. All tasks must be performed in accordance with professional guidelines, operational protocols, compliance requirements, and the quality standards established by 6 Brick's.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee store operations in the absence of the Director of Operations, including opening and closing responsibilities, day-to-day floor operations, and training staff.
  • Oversee all aspects of Budtender performance, including monitoring interactions with customers, providing pertinent information for employee performance evaluations, and tracking write-ups related to uniform, performance, and attendance while reinforcing accountability, professionalism, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Partner with management to maintain and foster efficient and ongoing communication with dispensary staff and leadership.
  • Handle customer complaints while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal inspection, billing, and licensing requirements.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer service and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize strong math skills for cash handling and financial transactions.
  • Manage daily financial reporting requirements and oversee all cash handling procedures.
  • Support a structured and compliant retail environment with strong attention to detail and operational consistency.
  • Assist in identifying operational challenges and proactively contribute thoughtful solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must pass all state-required background checks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • 1-3 years of previous retail supervisor experience preferred.
  • Cannabis industry experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of state/local regulatory guidance, policy, and compliance expectations. Ability to interface with CCC if necessary.
  • Proficient in adopting new software and ever-evolving technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of standard office applications and word-processing software, including Microsoft Office.
Education and Prior Experience:
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
