Location: Bucktown, Chicago, IL
Position Overview:
Dermatology + Aesthetics is seeking a dedicated and skilled physician to provide general dermatology services for a growing patient base in Bucktown, Chicago, IL. This position offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant neighborhood, joining a modern, state-of-the-art practice equipped with cutting-edge technology and supported by a collaborative team of professionals.
This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 32 clinical hours per week (four days). This would include a minimum of one Saturday per month.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Provide a variety of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services over 32 clinical hours
  • Counsel patients on topics such as annual dermatologic screenings, sun protection, skin cancer awareness, or self-examinations for skin and lymph nodes.
  • Perform incisional biopsies and skin surgeries for melanoma diagnosis, appearance improvement, early disease detection, or disease control.
  • Recommend diagnostic tests based on patient history and physical examinations.
  • Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with patients, families, and healthcare personnel, ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
  • Record patient health history in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Completion of a medical degree, dermatology residency, and board certification.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certificate in good standing.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the United States.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients, families, and the community.
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least two years of experience in a general dermatology practice.
  • Experience using EMR/EHR systems.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working at a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs as needed.
