POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for management, acquisition, and disposal of county assets including real estate properties, vehicles, and equipment. Works closely with property owners and tenants as well as county, municipal, state, and federal government agencies/officials.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists in maintaining inventory of County's real estate properties, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Assists with county vehicle fleet acquisition, maintenance, management, and disposition.
  • Manages County's Carshare Program.
  • Maintains and implements County's Vehicle Policy in cooperation with Human Resources.
  • Recommends and executes inter-departmental vehicle transfers as needed.
  • Oversees and maintains County's Fuel System, Fleet Software, and GPS systems.
  • Coordinates vehicle title and registration needs.
  • Documents and manages vehicle accidents and associated repair and/or replacement needs.
  • Coordinates with County's insurance administrator for insurance coverage of County vehicles.
  • Initiates and oversees any insurance claims relative to vehicles.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
