Job Summary:
Netpace Inc is a company seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in C programming and experience with Linux. The role involves developing networking technologies and requires a proven track record in team leadership and solid hands-on skills in software design and implementation.
Responsibilities:
• Expertise with C programming language and experience with Linux are required, experience with scripting language such as Python is desirable.
• 2-5 years of technical experience and demonstrated expertise in developing networking technologies, including layer 2/layer 3/layer 4 in IP/Ethernet/Infiniband/RoCEv2 networks, control plane, data plane.
• Experience and firm understanding of IP routing protocols is highly desired.
• Academic publications or innovation/US patents in networking area are a big plus.
• Proven track record in team leadership and solid hands on skills including projects execution, software modules design and implementation.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, including oral and written English.
• If the resource has any one of the three below will suffice: 1. Candidate with working experience in any area of MPI, Gloo, NCCL, or cuda programming 2. Candidate with working experience in any deep learning platform such as Caffe2, PyTorch or TensorFlow 3. Candidate with working experience in RDMA programming, OFED software stack.
