Southwest Medical Associates is looking for a BC/BE physician with ER experience to join us on a supplemental basis in Hereford, TX. Located about 45 miles southwest of Amarillo, this hospital serves a rural community and provides top quality care for a diverse population. 

  • Requires: ACLS, PALS (ATLS & NRP Recommended)
  • Patient Volume: approx. 20 in 24 hours
  • Shift Length: 24-48 hours
  • 5% Trauma, 50% Pediatrics, 35% Geriatrics
  • EMR: Cerner Community Works
  • Lab & X-Ray Available 24 hours
  • Transfer/Admit Protocol
  • OB Protocol
  • Referral Centers: NWTH, BSA, UMC, Covenant, Plainview
  • Dress in business attire with lab coat or neat and clean scrubs
