Java Automation Developer

We are seeking a talented Java Automation Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, database, and microservices testing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Rest Assured, TestNG/JUnit, and CI/CD tools. You will collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through scalable and maintainable automation solutions.

Design and develop scalable automation frameworks using Java. Create automated test scripts for Web, API, Database, and UI testing. Develop reusable automation utilities and libraries. Automate regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end test suites. Perform API automation using REST Assured and Postman. Validate backend databases using SQL queries. Integrate automation suites with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI. Execute cross-browser and cross-platform automation testing. Analyze test execution reports and investigate failures. Collaborate with developers to resolve automation and application defects. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews. Maintain automation documentation and coding standards. Continuously improve automation coverage and framework performance.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in Java automation development. Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17). Experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright. Experience in API automation using Rest Assured. Strong knowledge of TestNG or JUnit. Experience writing SQL queries for database validation. Knowledge of Maven or Gradle. Experience using Git for version control. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with Playwright Java or Selenium Grid. Experience with Cucumber (BDD). Knowledge of Appium for mobile automation. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of Kafka testing and microservices testing. Experience using BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. Familiarity with SonarQube and code quality tools.
