Summary:
The Manager, Nursing Support Services, provides oversight of the daily nursing operations and delivery of nursing care, nurse staffing, and clinical education. This individual ensures evidenced based practices are maintained for optimal patient outcomes and translates research into evidence-based practice for nursing staff. They serve as the nursing administrative lead for the nursing supervision staff and provide strategically aligned education/training to achieve outcomes consistent with the facility's strategic nursing plan.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 4-year program.
* Graduate from an accredited nursing program/school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, BSN or MSN).
Experience:
* Five years of related experience.
* Experience as a House/Nursing/Administrative Supervisor.
Credentials:
Essential:
* Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or holds a multi-state nursing license; or able to obtain license prior to start is required.
* Basic Life Support required.
