Role Overview

The Trading System Support team are responsible for maintaining TP ICAP's trading platforms, trade resolution, post trade services and market data APIs. We are a global team with representatives in London, New Jersey, Hong Kong and Singapore.

With TP ICAP Global Broking's growth in hybrid trading and volume matching platforms Trading System Support are at the center of every launch including:

  • Providing market support to Clients, Brokers and sales teams

  • Static data configuration for both client and instrument set up

  • Client on boarding and support for post trade services, order routing and market data

  • Represent the team as key project stakeholder in all trading initiatives

  • Ensure TP ICAP's markets are run in an orderly fashion, maximizing speed to market in a compliant controlled manner

Role Responsibilities

  • Access controls onto TP ICAP's electronic and voice offerings.

  • Adhere to governance by following operational procedures to ensure TP ICAP's market operates in an orderly manner.

  • Maintain all groups and pages, including sorting across multiple asset classes.

  • Create all Firms, traders, brokers, and Voice accounts.

  • Responsible for the Auction calendar and rolling new instruments onto the screen.

  • Work with NEX/Brokertec for customer and firm mapping.

  • Oversee Market Control of all products on our trading systems.

  • Investigate and escalate system issues to production support or developers following global support framework.

  • Provide Broker/Trader support, training, and screen configuration on TP ICAP's electronic platforms.

  • Handle client queries, connectivity issues, and post-trade issues with clients.

Experience/Competences

Essential

  • High technical competency with experience in market monitoring and support.

  • Ability to manage small projects independently to a conclusion.

  • API Support experience, including familiarity with FIX protocol.

  • Multi-asset class knowledge with a strong client-facing ability.

  • Service-oriented with a good understanding of trade flows and experience in a support role from a market or technical perspective.

Desired

  • Experience in the deployment of trading applications via the internet, troubleshooting connectivity, and packaging problems.

  • Knowledge of FIX client onboarding and understanding of HTML5.

  • Experience in Credit Derivatives, Bond, FX products, OTC products.

  • Experience of working within an investment bank or inter-dealer broker.
