At Chop Steakhouse & Bar, we take pride in serving premium steaks and delivering an exceptional dining experience. We are looking for a skilled Broil Cook who is passionate about quality, consistency, and teamwork. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and have experience cooking premium steaks, we’d love to meet you.

Position Summary

As a Broil Cook, you will expertly prepare and cook prime steaks, chops, seafood, and other grilled specialties to our exacting standards, ensuring exceptional flavor, precise doneness, and unwavering commitment to food quality, consistency, and safety in a fine dining environment.

Previous broil/grill experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook steaks and other proteins to guest specifications and company standards.
  • Maintain consistency in steak temperatures, presentation, and portioning.
  • Set up and maintain the broil station before, during, and after service.
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely and according to health and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor product quality and minimize waste.
  • Communicate effectively with chefs, expo, and fellow line cooks during service.
  • Keep the station clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.
  • Follow recipes, prep lists, and daily production schedules.
  • Support the kitchen team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
  • Previous broil or grill cooking experience is required.
  • Experience cooking premium steaks is strongly preferred.
