Job description

About Company

At Brightspot, we help content-driven organizations turn content chaos into momentum. Our flexible, AI-powered content management platform (CMS) enables teams to move faster, collaborate more effectively, and scale with confidence. Since 2008, leading enterprises have partnered with Brightspot to transform fragmented ecosystems into streamlined, high-performing operations that drive growth, strengthen governance, and deliver real business impact.

About the Role

Brightspot is looking for a strategic and action-oriented Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. This role is ideal for a PMM with deep spikes in sales enablement and product launches who is ready to own critical go-to-market initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, you will own the end-to-end go-to-market and sales enablement for new features and product launches: equipping our sales team with the training and tools they need, tracking their progress from training to closed-won deals. You will collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, Delivery and Product teams to ensure our customers have a seamless experience from onboarding to upgrades.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Enablement
    • Collateral Creation: Develop high-impact sales tools, including pitch decks, battlecards, demo scripts, product videos, and content for web and social.
    • Training: Design and deliver continuous training sessions for Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure product fluency and mastery of new features.
  • Product Launches & Go-To-Market (GTM)
    • Launch Orchestration: Define, manage, and execute product and feature launches in partnership with Marketing, Product, and other GTM partners.
    • Positioning & Messaging: Translate complex product technicalities into crisp, value-based messaging that resonates with prospects across a variety of industries and differentiates Brightspot in the market.
  • Market Intelligence & Promotion
    • Market Curiosity: Monitor industry trends and competitor tactics to continually uncover creative opportunities for promoting Brightspot.
    • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the strategic connective tissue between Product, Sales, Delivery, and Marketing teams to keep messaging aligned and impactful.

What Makes a Great Candidate

  • You’ve got Product Marketing stripes. You will have 5–7 years of dedicated experience in B2B product marketing, with a proven track record of orchestrating successful product launches and driving sales adoption.
  • You’re a universal translator. You speak Product, Sales, and Marketing fluently. You have a unique ability to grasp technical details, and seamlessly translate them into compelling, value-driven stories that sales reps love to pitch.
  • You’ve got excellent communication skills. From executive presence to customer meetings, you know how to get your message across. You’re great at delivering dynamic presentations that get your audience (internal or external) excited about Brightspot.
  • You don’t wait for instructions. You have a high degree of accountability and a strong bias for action. You don’t wait to be told what to do; you see a gap, you build a plan, and you move it across the finish line.
  • You know what moves the sales needle. You have a strong sense of what it takes to enable sales success. You don't just create collateral to check a box, you build strategic tools that actively solve sales friction, increase pipeline, and help close deals.
  • You’re naturally curious. You have a genuine curiosity about our product, our users, and the market. You’re constantly asking things like, "How can we best promote this feature?" and "What else could we be doing to stand out?"
  • You're incredibly collaborative. You thrive in a cross-functional environment. You are an excellent listener, open to other perspectives, and skilled at building high-trust relationships across different departments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The starting salary range for this role is $130,000-140,000 with bonus potential.
  • Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 3 weeks paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid company holidays, Safe Harbor 401(k) with employer matching, continuing education stipend, and a 3-week paid sabbatical after your 5th anniversary.

Hybrid Expectations

  • This is a hybrid position. Candidates are expected to work on-site at our Reston office 2 days per week.
