Radiology Technologist, First Shift, Radiology Department
UC Health is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist for the Radiology department for first shift at The University of Cincinnati Medical Center. We are offering up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus!
A Radiology Technologist will support the University of Cincinnati Medical Center's Radiology Department and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients through producing diagnostic radiographs of the human body using independent judgment to determine quality of radiographs and compliance with established protocols.

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
  • Communicates in a clear and appropriate manner with patients and staff while being able to identify and respond to varying needs.
  • Performs diagnostic procedures by reviewing patient history, communicating what will occur, and following all established protocols and safety measures.
  • Ensures patient and staff safety by providing protection equipment, regulating time and intensity of exposure, and utilizing equipment correctly.
  • Reviews images for diagnostic acceptability and maintains appropriate record-keeping and quality control.
  • Prepares and administers contrast media under physician direction, practices sterile techniques to prevent the spread of disease, and assists in administering emergency procedures as needed.
  • Participates in continuing education activities related to the field of Radiologic Technology and its subspecialties.

Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree required.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience preferred, will consider new graduates
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current licensure by the State of Ohio
  • Certified in BLS for Healthcare workers
