Eye Care for Animals is looking for a Veterinary Technician Practice Leader to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.
Role Responsibilities:
The Practice Leader is responsible for the general management of the veterinary practice ensuring overall success while meeting benchmarks. In addition to their primary job responsibilities (as a veterinary technician), tasks include reporting, payroll processing, hiring, and employee supervision.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
  • Superior/advanced technical skills
  • Has 2 years of supervisory experience (in a veterinary clinic setting)
  • Has strong anesthesia skills ( Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
  • Possesses a positive work attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills
