Description
The mission of the Bridge Mill CNC Machinist is to support Perfecto's operational excellence by independently setting up, operating, and producing large, complex, precision machined components on bridge mill CNC equipment. This role is accountable for safely and efficiently machining high-value weldments and fixtures to exact engineering specifications, directly impacting quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction on critical projects. Through disciplined process control, preventive maintenance, and craftsmanship standards, the Bridge Mill Machinist advances Perfecto's manufacturing capabilities and models the Core Values of Customer Experience, Integrity, Learning, and Stewardship.
Requirements
Experience & Credentials
  • 5+ years of experience operating bridge mills or large vertical CNC machines, with demonstrated success machining complex parts independently; forklift and crane experience preferred.

Advanced Bridge Mill Operation
  • Demonstrated ability to independently set up and run bridge mill or large-format vertical CNC equipment, machining low-volume, high-complexity parts with minimal supervision.

Blueprint Interpretation & Precision Machining
  • Accurately interpret complex engineering prints, GD&T, and machining specifications, consistently holding tight tolerances on large, high-value weldments and fixtures.

Safety & Equipment Stewardship
  • Strong mechanical reasoning and critical thinking to troubleshoot fixturing, tooling, distortion, and machining challenges inherent to large and complex components.
