Job description

Not for everyone, only highly driven individuals who love building relationships and are motivated by performance-based success should apply.

Bridge Logistics, Inc., a third-party logistics company in Cincinnati, OH, is hiring a Logistics Advisor (Sales Account Executive) to build and grow a national book of business in the transportation industry. This is a true new business sales role - not just account management. An effective freight broker can bring on business and manage the relationship over the long run.

If you're competitive, resilient, and motivated by long-term earning potential, keep reading.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and WIN new business nationwide (no territory limits)
  • Cold call on the phone and build relationships using the Sandler Sales Method
  • Connect with decision-makers across industries, both blue and white collar
  • Identify operational pain points and offer freight + transportation solutions
  • Creatively solve logistical problems with your team
  • Sell on VALUE - not price
  • Build a book of business that becomes your long-term income engine
  • Be accountable for sales targets, retention and growth within your book of business

What It's Like Here

This is a fast-paced industry, moving freight and solving problems in real time. No two days are the same. Freight moves 24/7, so there will be times where you build relationships and provide meaningful value after normal business hours.

Prospecting happens daily. You will be on the phone calling new business prospects. You will have a high volume of conversations to uncover and solve pain points, disrupt entrenched relationships and convert these accounts into long-term transportation partners with Bridge Logistics Inc. You will hear no more than yes, so we are big believers in trusting the process and keeping our eye on long-term growth while still celebrating the little wins.

We have an award-winning culture (multiple year Cincinnati Best Places to Work nominee and winner). We work hard every day, hold each accountable and have fun while doing it.

What You Get

  • $40,000 base salary plus uncapped commission (top 30% of Logistics Advisors earn $250k+ total compensation)
  • Hands-on industry training
  • A strong operations team supporting you
  • Personal & Professional Development Opportunities
  • Competitive benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and more
  • 401k with company match
  • PTO
  • Workout room
  • Casual dress code

What You Need

  • Self-motivation and strong work ethic
  • Vigor in how you operate with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Sharp negotiation skills, ability to handle conflict and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate well with internal and external teams
  • An understanding that success is built over time, not overnight, with a passion for the process
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new industry specific technologies
  • Phone sales experience strongly preferred, but not required
