Whether helping a child build their first set or assisting a seasoned collector, our team is dedicated to delivering an exceptional LEGO® experience to every guest.

Job Overview
The Full-Time Keyholder plays a critical leadership role in the daily operations of Bricks & Minifigs Orlando South. This position is responsible for independently opening and closing the store, maintaining operational standards, supervising team members during assigned shifts, and ensuring excellent customer experiences.

Keyholders act as shift leaders, supporting store management by ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining accountability, and reinforcing company standards.

Duties

Store Operations & Keyholder Duties

  • Open and close the store independently, including unlocking/locking doors, alarm management, and securing the premises.
  • Perform daily cash handling procedures, including register setup, reconciliation, and end-of-day reporting.
  • Ensure the store is fully prepared for opening and properly cleaned, organized, and secured at closing.
  • Maintain accountability for store keys, alarm systems, and security procedures.
  • Complete opening and closing checklists and communicate any issues to management.

Customer Experience & Sales Leadership

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and providing knowledgeable support on LEGO® products.
  • Lead by example to maintain a positive, energetic, and results-driven sales environment.
  • Support achievement of daily and monthly sales goals.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Promote store programs, events, and promotions to drive customer engagement.

Team Leadership & Support

  • Serve as the shift leader when scheduled, guiding team members and ensuring workflow efficiency.
  • Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
  • Reinforce company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding team performance and operational improvements.

Merchandising & Inventory Management

  • Support inventory processes including receiving, pricing, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure displays remain fully stocked and attractive.
  • Assist with LEGO® trades, buybacks, and product intake procedures.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience required; keyholder or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and manage responsibilities independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, responsible, ethical, and dependable.
