Job description

Brickmont at Johns Creek, a Claiborne Senior Living managed community, is hiring Medication Technicians / Certified Medication Aides (Med Techs / CMAs) to safely administer medications and support resident care in our senior living community. What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy
  • Follow the โ€œSix Rightsโ€ of medication administration and proper documentation standards
  • Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects
  • Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership
  • Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts
  • Support residents with activities of daily living as needed
  • Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements

 

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Reliable, focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
