Job Overview

Diamond State Masonry Inc is seeking an experienced Bricklayer to join our Field Operations team. The ideal candidate is a skilled journeyman bricklayer with a proven ability to perform daily bricklaying tasks efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on commercial, industrial, and government projects.

Key Responsibilities

As a Bricklayer, you will:

  • Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units according to project specifications.
  • Mix and apply mortar, ensuring consistency and proper bonding.
  • Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine layout and materials needed.
  • Cut, shape, and align materials with precision for a clean finish.
  • Repair and restore existing masonry structures as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times.
  • Collaborate with foremen, crew members, and project managers to meet schedules and production goals.
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a bricklayer or journeyman mason.
  • Strong technical skills in laying brick, block, and other masonry materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding work, including lifting 50lbs+ and working in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
  • No formal education required; training and experience are valued most.
