Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Masons for projects located in the Allentown, PA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Mason and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Brick laying and block installation
  • Brick replacement, repair, and repointing/tuckpointing
  • CMU wall construction and repair
  • Mortar mixing and material preparation
  • Scaffold erection, adjustment, and dismantling
  • Demolition and removal of damaged masonry materials
  • Installation of lintels, flashing, anchors, and reinforcing materials
  • Joint tooling, caulking prep, and cleanup of finished masonry surfaces
  • Cut brick/block to specification using masonry saws and hand tools
  • Load/unload materials and maintaining organized work areas
  • Assisting with layout, line setting, and elevation checks
  • Site protection and daily cleanup of debris and excess material
  • Waterproofing prep and sealing of masonry surfaces as needed
  • Assist with chimney repair, facade restoration, and structural masonry repairs if required
  • Follow all OSHA safety requirements and maintain safe scaffold practices
