Hospitality Support Staff - Crooked Hammock Brewery
Summary of Position: At Crooked Hammock Brewery, Hospitality Support Team Members play an important role in creating exceptional guest experiences. Whether welcoming guests at the front door, escorting parties to their seats, delivering fresh food to tables, clearing and resetting dining areas, or assisting guests in our retail shop, you'll help ensure every visit is memorable from the moment guests arrive until the moment they leave. Hospitality Support Team Members are cross-trained to support hosting, food running, bussing, and retail operations, allowing them to assist wherever needed to provide outstanding service and support the team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values working as part of a team. No two shifts are exactly alike, and you'll have the opportunity to support multiple areas of the brewery while helping create the warm, welcoming atmosphere Crooked Hammock is known for.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests with a friendly, upbeat attitude and assist with seating and waitlist management.
  • Deliver food quickly and accurately while ensuring every plate meets our quality standards.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables to maintain a welcoming dining environment.
  • Support servers by refilling beverages, pre-bussing tables, and anticipating guest needs.
  • Assist guests with retail purchases, merchandise questions, and point-of-sale transactions.
  • Maintain clean, organized dining rooms, patios, retail spaces, and service stations.
  • Restock supplies, merchandise, and guest service areas throughout the shift.
  • Work collaboratively with Front of House, Back of House, and Management to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Help wherever needed to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
  • Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • A natural ability to make people feel welcome and comfortable
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • A friendly, energetic, and fun personality with a love for hospitality
  • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills and experience handling transactions (or a willingness to learn)
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility of schedule to assume responsibilities as needed; ability to balance personal and professional life
