Job Description:
Position Summary
RP Chicago is seeking a full-time EVENING Remote Emergency/General Diagnostic Radiologist for our Chicago based practice. This position will be on a 7on | 7off or 7on | 14 off block schedule, covering the 6pm-3:30am CST shift, interpreting majority STAT/ER cases. Candidates must be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology, with a preference for Emergency Radiology. Any successful candidate will share Radiology Partners' vision for fostering an integrative and collaborative care model while working within a multi-disciplinary team. We have a commitment to quality and ardently promote and invest in the professional development of our radiologists through quality and leadership programs.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all diagnostic interpretations including STAT/ER cases and will play a key role in supporting emergency and inpatient imaging needs during overnight hours. The case mix includes CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain films from busy emergency departments and inpatient services, offering a dynamic and engaging overnight workflow. Radiologists in this role benefit from optimized worklists and balanced case distribution designed to promote efficiency and minimize unnecessary interruptions during overnight shifts.
The position also leverages Radiology Partners' Mosaic AI Operating System, an advanced technology platform that uses artificial intelligence and workflow automation to prioritize studies, improve turnaround times, and reduce administrative burden so radiologists can focus on high-quality diagnostic interpretation.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
  • Approximately $500K-750K Base Salary (range dependent on desired shift schedule)
  • Up to $100K Starting Bonus
  • ~$4,100 per shift
  • Schedule: Choice of 7on | 7off or 7on | 14 off block schedule
  • Hours: 6pm - 3:30am CST
  • Ability to interpret general emergency (STAT ER, urgent care and inpatient) for multiple hospital sites covered by RP Chicago
  • Productivity Bonus Available
  • Primary Community Radiology ER/STAT cases
  • Remote support provided by other Evening Radiologists
  • No other shift requirements outside of dedicated shift hours
  • No Mammography or PET CT

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • Ability to secure an Illinois, Iowa and Indiana Licenses

COMPENSATION:
The target salary for this position is $550k-750k. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
