Cazenovia Recovery is a great place to work! We offer many benefits and extras to our staff members. This position monitors the program during varying shifts in order to ensure the safety of residents.

  • Monitors the program and its residents while ensuring resident safety during assigned hours.
  • Responds to all immediate social or housekeeping issues as they arise.
  • Provides breathalyzer and toxicology screening as needed.
  • Responds to crises and emergencies.
  • Inputs data into the agency database as requested by supervisor.
  • Attends and participates in all individual program and agency activities as required by supervisor.
  • Attends and participates in all job-related workshops and in-services trainings.
  • Responds in a professional and responsible manner to incidents involving contagious diseases (i.e., HIV, Hepatitis B, TB, etc.).
  • Serves on agency committees as requested.
  • Assists in the implementation of the agency's policies and procedures.
  • Carries out additional duties essential to the above-stated responsibilities as assigned.
  • Is mindful of and integrates Trauma-Informed Care and its five principles in all duties and interactions with fellow staff, residents, and external partners.
  • Maintains compliance with all required rules and regulations including Federal Confidentiality (42 CFR, Part 2), HIPAA, Medicaid and/or HUD, and any others.
