Job description

Primary Job Title: Repair Technician Assembler 1.
Alternate/Related Job Titles: Repair Technician, Electronics Assembler, Assembly Technician.
Location: Grapevine, TX.
1st shift 5am - 1:30pm or 6am - 2:30pm.

Job Summary:
The Repair Technician Assembler 1 will support the assembly and repair of hand-held breathalyzer devices that integrate into vehicles. This role involves working with repair components, subassemblies, and performing calibration and testing of electronic systems and equipment. Basic soldering skills are essential, and the position provides opportunities to learn and grow through formal training in relevant areas of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the assembly and repair of components and subassemblies for breathalyzer devices.
  • Perform setup, calibration, and testing of recording and control instruments and test equipment.
  • Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to ensure products meet established specifications.
  • Utilize basic soldering skills in the assembly process.
  • Ensure systems and components meet required quality standards.
  • Work under the direct supervision of the group lead or supervisor.

Required Experience:
  • Micro Soldering and electronic assembly experience is required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under immediate supervision.

Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Experience with calibration and testing of electronic equipment.

Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in soldering.
  • Familiarity with basic assembly processes.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Preferred Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of electronics and testing equipment.
  • Experience working with breathalyzer or similar devices.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Work Schedule:
  • 40+ hours per week. Standard working hours apply, with occasional overtime as needed.
